Annual Gathering Meeting  2026- AGM

Join us for the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 pm at the Residence of the Ambassador.

 

Agenda:

  • Approve the minutes of the 2025 AGM
  • Review activity year 2025-26 (Finance and Activities)
  • Open discussion on some of the changes done this year and where members want to see BLAS focussing
  • Election of the 2025-26 committee
  • Election of the new President of BLAS

 

IMPORTANT - VOTE BY PROXY: If you cannot join in person, you can assign a proxy. Please register to attend, and download the proxy form (proxy form is in the "Minutes and Proxy" link on the top right of this page) and give the signed proxy form to the person who will be voting on your behalf. Make sure they bring it with them to the AGM. A member can only act as a proxy for one other member.

 

APPRECIATION MOMENT & BUFFET PARTY - at 8:30 pm, also open for non-members !!!

For the current president and some committee members this AGM will be their goodbye and a new president and new members will join in their place and strengthen BLAS.  We had a good number of people supporting and helping BLAS out in different events, including some sponsors. The appreciation moment will give them a special attention. Afterwards the buffet will open to celebrate a warm welcome and farewell gathering at the Residence. Doors open at 8:30 pm.

 

For both events, you need to register by 11 May, so catering can be sized correctly and the mandatory upfront attendee list can be provided to the Embassy. No Walk Ins please.
