During our visit\, Sarah will share stories focusing on the founding fathers of the Iraqi Jewish community in Singapore. We will then take a local bus and walk through the old Jewish neighborhood called " Mahala " to learn about Jewish life and see where pr ominent residents such as David Marshall and Jacob Ballas used to live. We will get a chance to see the only two remaining Jewish buildings\, the Da vid Elias building constructed in 1928 and the Isaac Ellison Building date d 1924.
